What we collect, and why
When you ask for a quote: your name, phone number, email address, your street or village, the service you want and anything you write in the message. We use it to reply to you, to quote, and, if you go ahead, to do the work. Our legal basis is taking steps you asked for before entering into a contract with us.
When you browse: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records which pages are visited, roughly where from (town or region, not your address), and on what kind of device. It doesn’t tell us who you are. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time on our cookie policy page. Vercel, who host the site, also count page visits without cookies and without identifying anyone; our legal basis for that is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful.
We don’t sell your details, and we don’t use them for marketing.
Who else handles it
- Dalton Digital Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company 15930308), who look after this website, deliver form enquiries to us and keep a copy of each so none is lost.
- Vercel Inc. host the website.
- Cloudflare, Inc. run the spam check (Turnstile) on the quote form.
- Google provide Google Analytics, which only runs if you accept it.
Some of these companies may process data outside the UK. Where they do, it’s protected by UK adequacy regulations or the standard contractual clauses the UK recognises.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that doesn’t turn into work is deleted after 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep your details while we work for you and then for as long as the law requires for business records (six years for tax records). Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@lcexteriorcleans.co.uk. We’ll reply within a month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113.
